Our aim at Richard Language College is to ensure that you leave us able to communicate in English to the best of your ability in both social and professional situations.

Linguistic profile

At the end of every course students are assessed by their Class Tutor and given a internationally recognised "Linguistic Profile". This certificate details the student's final level of English. As one of the few full members of EAQUALS (European Association for Quality Language Services) in the U.K., Richard Language College issues the Linguistic Profile according to the Common European Scale of Reference

Maxima Intensive Course

We can offer classes with an average of 6 participants for people who want to learn in a small group. Our short intensive course has one of the smallest class sizes of any language school in England which guarantees rapid progress and individual attention. At the end of the course it is possible to sit the internationally recognized TOEIC test.

Long English Courses

Many students want to learn English over a number of months in England. They need a sensibly priced long term course with a high quality of teaching and with the possibilty of focusing on an examination. Our Long English Course programme is available for those staying for 5 weeks or longer, and for those who want to prepare for a specific examination.

For those seeking individual tuition or need English for Specific Purposes we can offer One to One teaching.

Courses for Younger Learners

For students in the age range 16-20 we have Intensive Summer Courses up to 9 weeks. Our CLAS courses for learners aged 14-17 offer a thorough study of English with varied activities.

Practising your English outside the classroom also helps you to make rapid progress. When classes are over for the day, Richard Language College organises a wide range of activities (many free) and excursions to top destinations around England and beyond. We hold regular video evenings, lectures, table tennis competitions, social evenings and barbecues. We can also organise trips to concerts, theatre performances, discos, live bands at very reasonable prices.
